Lucia points out that women face many challenges as they try to balance their work and family life. For example, she says, more women lost their jobs during the pandemic as they had to prioritize child care over their jobs. This, she says, builds a case for supporting women in the workplace so the women are not forced to choose between their family and work as the energy transition needs participation of both men and women
