Building a strong partnership has been one of the key strengths of the Utilities 2.0 project that has contributed significantly to its successful implementation. According to a recent household survey by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, only 57% of Ugandans have access to any form of electricity. Of these, 19% and 38% were connected to the grid and off-grid power, respectively. Today, a coalition of global energy sector leaders launched a first-of-its-kind integrated energy pilot in Uganda.
