About Alba Topulli
Alba Topulli is the CEO of Power for All, a global campaign to accelerate the end of energy poverty. She manages an international team that has built a coalition of more than 500 partners and launched initiatives to accelerate the adoption of decentralized renewable energy (DRE) in numerous countries including Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, India, Ethiopia, and Uganda. Alba has over 15 years of experience at the intersection of the business, government, and the nonprofit sectors, driving market-shaping initiatives to accelerate economic growth and development. She has led international teams, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and spearheaded campaigns that bridge industries, attract investment, and drive policy reforms. Most recently, as Deputy Managing Director at Mercy Corps, she shaped and led the global strategy for Energy 4 Impact, its energy innovations platform. In prior roles, she worked to strengthen off-grid solar markets, build the capacity of renewable energy associations, and unlock investment in emerging economies by addressing systemic barriers. Earlier in her career, Alba held various roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary for Field Operations. A native Albanian speaker, Alba is also fluent in English and proficient in Portuguese. She holds a M.A. in International Development from the George Washington University in D.C. and a B.A. in Political Science from John Carroll University.
